Anita, a Milwaukee, WI native, earned her Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice and Sociology from the University of Wisconsin - Parkside in 2008. In 2014, she furthered her education by obtaining a School - Age Credential from the University of Wisconsin - Platteville. Education is a foundation of who Anita is, in 2024 she obtained an associate in early childhood development as she currently is working on completing her masters.
With almost fifteen years of experience in childcare, she holds a Level 13 certification on the registry. Passionate about working with children, Anita is dedicated to helping them thrive and reach their full potential. As a mother of four and a godmother to five, she brings a wealth of personal and professional experience to her role. She looks forward to welcoming you to Next Generation Camp!
Mr.K, originally from Racine, WI, now resides in Milwaukee, WI. He has earned his Master's degree in Community Psychology (Counseling) from Alverno College in 2021. With nearly a decade of experience in camp settings, he specializes in working with children who have behavioral challenges.
For the past three years, Mr.K has been a valued member of the Next Generation team, bringing enthusiasm, dedication, and a positive spirit to camp each day! Outside of his professional role, he enjoys spending quality time with his family.
Ms. Neenee, a native of Gary, IN, has been a dedicated member of the Next Generation team since 2017. She earned her Administration Credential from Milwaukee Area Technical College and is currently pursuing an associate's degree in early childhood education.
As a mother of eight and a grandmother of five, she brings a wealth of experience and passion for her work. Ms. NeeNee leads the Atkinson location, where she is committed to creating a nurturing and supportive environment for children to learn and grow.
Ms. Dee, originally from Gary, IN, is currently completing her associate's degree in early childhood education at Milwaukee Area Technical College. As a mother of five, she values quality time with her children and brings a deep passion for creativity to her work. Known for her artistic talents, she ensures that every child engages in hands - on creative projects. While she cherishes her time in Milwaukee, she fondly misses her hometown and the Jackson Family.
Mr. Marrion, a Milwaukee native, graduated from Nicolet High School in 2021. He has completed his early childhood education courses and is currently pursuing his associate's degree at Milwaukee Area Technical College. Passionate about working with children, he serves as a lead teacher for before and after-school programs throughout the year, as well as during the summer. An avid and highly competitive basketball player, he brings enthusiasm and energy to his work. In his free time, he enjoys spending time outdoors, including walks on Buffum.
Ms. Kennedy has been a dedicated member of the Next Generation team since 2021. After graduating high school, she attended Milwaukee Area Technical College. A talented poet and podcast host, she brings creativity and self-expression into her work with children. Passionate about fostering confidence, she creates an environment where children feel encouraged to be themselves and express their individuality.
